Send SMS Text Messages direct from your databaseWe can now build into your FileMaker 8.5 solution, the ability to send single or bulk SMS text messages directly. No plugin required. Messages are charged at 22 cents per message inc. gst (even cheaper for high volumes) to any mobile phone in Australia and we can tailor a plan to suit your needs. We can even arrange for international messaging. The best part is that, when people reply to the message, the reply will come back to the e-mail address you specify when you send it.
This solution was developed for a recruitment agency whose staff regularly send up to 60 messages per day to candidates about upcoming jobs. What used to take them over an hour, can now be done, at the click of a button, in one minute. We’re in the process of adding it to a servicing company database to SMS an engineer when an urgent job is logged by a client on their website.
